From the IEAL-J’s inception, its three guiding pillars have been research, innovation, and capacity-building and it believes that this collaboration between the IEAL-J and Professor Hutton underscores the research pillar. Though it is a small body, the Institute recognizes the importance of continuing to expand the body of local research available on school leadership and management practices and principles. Moreover, as the IEAL-J holds true to its mandate of furthering the understanding of educational administration & leadership in Jamaica and making a positive and tangible difference to the development of Educational Leadership potential at various levels throughout the country and beyond, these books are a welcome addition.
